Welcome

Welcome to our website where you can find out more about St Mark’s Worcester – who’s who, church services, history, special events, news and activities of this Anglican Church situated on the A38 Bath Road in Worcester.

The church of St. Mark in the Cherry Orchard was built at the turn of the last century to serve the growing population (mainly through the expansion of the railways) of the Cherry Orchard, a (then) largely rural suburb to the south of the city of Worcester.  In the 1950s the Cherry Orchard became a parish, and in 1981 together with St Martins, St Philip & St James, Whittington and Holy Trinity & St Matthew, Ronkswood became part of the Worcester South East team of churches.

We are delighted to announce that the Revd Clare Griffiths has been appointed parish priest of St Mark’s and Whittington and a vicar in our Team. Clare will be licensed in May
